This engagement session in Ancaster was so much fun that we left with the biggest smiles on our faces knowing that we couldn’t wait to capture their wedding! This was the final session that we shot in 2022 before heading to Arizona for the winter and it was the perfect finale to our season with the stunning light, the kaleidoscope of colours and the love that these two souls share for one another. The fall colours that we captured were absolutely stunning, it was the perfect backdrop for these two amazing humans! We met Amber & Matt at their friend’s wedding in October 2021 and were so honoured that they asked us to capture their milestones as well! It was such an amazing compliment that the one photo we took at Jaimie & Scott’s wedding meant so much to them! These two are so sweet together and you can tell with the way they look at each other how deep their connection goes. This connection made photographing their engagement session a dream!

 

We met up first at a waterfall spot to get a couple photos with the gorgeous falls in the background and finished their session at Christie Lake Conservation Area. They brought their adorable pup Bentley to their session and he was a perfect little gentleman! His little bow was so adorable! We always welcome our couples’ fur babies to get in on the love! At this location we had the full expanse of colours as well as the lake nearby as we got that gorgeous golden hour light! There is nothing like the deep gold of a fall sunset, it’s such an amazing time for an engagement session! We walked a couple trails, popped some bubbly and danced on the beach! These two are such fun-loving people, we had a blast hanging out!

 

As our circle of friends keep growing and we continue to shoot more friend’s weddings, we love to see all our couples again! Amber and Matt’s wedding is going to be absolutely stunning and we can’t wait for that special day!
