Sunshine cuddles, gorgeous water views and an abundance of love was in the air for Alex’s spring maternity session in Muskoka. We had the lake, trees and rocks that truly showcase the North’s beauty! Alex’s lovely husband Jason joined us and we had an amazing time hanging out while I captured their love and excitement for their growing family! That evening was so lovely and filled with laughs as these two were such kind souls that were so easy to be around! I absolutely adore maternity sessions, they are so emotional and for those who do choose and can have that journey, the photos are special mommentos that will be cherished for many years to come. It is such a special time in a couple’s life that I always feel blessed to be a part of!

 

The connection between these two was so clear in every touch and snuggle, Jason was so gentle and supportive, you could tell how excited he was to be a father. Taking their photos was such a breeze as these two are naturally affectionate and loving. Alex is absolutely stunning and was simply glowing in every pose, her personality shone and warmth radiated from her. We spent the evening wandering around a lake snapping some photos on the dock while some of my favourite photos from this session are the beautifully silhouetted ones as the sun was setting behind her! We finished on the beach to walk in the sand and for Alex to get her toes in the water! Also that hat is such a vibe, I’m loving the boho touch! I am so happy to have captured this milestone for this amazing couple and my heart is so full from these two.

 

Alex & Jason welcomed their little peanut in July and he is the cutest little thing in the whole world! Congratulations to these new parents and for their new journey!
