This wedding was stunning from beginning to end! I feel so blessed to have met these two incredible souls and capture this gorgeous day for them. Kate is so sweet and Jon had me laughing the entire day with his jokes! They made such a lovely couple as they said their vows to each other on gorgeous Toronto Island at beautiful Royal Canadian Yacht Club in the middle of the summer in July. They had to postpone their wedding four times but that didn’t stop them having the day that they envisioned with the people they love the most! The universe truly aligns when you manifest your desires and that was clear with these two!

 

The connection that these two share was truly special and had me tearing up the entire day, there were so many tears but born of love so great that it was amazing to be a part of it. So many smiles, tears and laughter, the most emotional day to celebrate the love of these two.

 

We started our day with Kate’s getting ready photos in a Toronto family home where she had all of her girls with her to commemorate the morning! We took a ferry to the island where Jon clearly thought Kate was simply stunning with his loving reaction to seeing her for the first time during their first look! These two married at RCYC which has special memories for the both of them with Jon’s family being a part of the club. It is a picturesque venue right on the water with lovely weeping willows surrounded by sleek sailboats. They took this next step in their journey on the shore with the city of Toronto as the backdrop, it was such a beautiful ceremony! Their officiant, Tom, is very dear to K & J's heart, it was very important to have him as the one to marry them so even with all of the postponements, they made sure that he was able to be a part of it. After some speeches and dinner, the sun peeked out for a truly breathtaking red sunset and we ran down to the water to take advantage of the sun setting over the skyline.
