The love and laughter still warms our hearts when we think of this beautiful wedding in Mildmay, Ontario! Caitlyn & Jesse have such an incredible connection, it was such a blessing to be a part of their day! They chose Caitlyn’s family farm as their location to say “I Do”. It was such a beautiful farm, nestled in rolling hills with fields of wildflowers and gorgeous forests, it was picturesque and sentimental. They were so attentive to each other the entire day, it was so sweet to capture.

 

This wedding day was so beautiful, we started their getting readys with Jesse and his friends hanging out in a beautiful RV and Caitlyn in her family home a few dozen feet away. The energy with her girls was so empowering, they were so sweet and welcoming! We had to hang her dress from a tree to take advantage if the gorgeous rolling hills. She got dressed out in nature and it was such a lovely moment! When we brought Jesse over the for the first look it was so touching, they have such a deep love and respect for one another! We then left to go out to a spot on the property that her dad took the time to prepare for us! He created a trail in the forest and in the wildflowers so we could have a beautiful backdrop for their portraits! The care that he put in was so touching! Her colourful flowers from Little Buds and Posies were absolutely stunning, she even added some beautiful smelling flowers at the back so Caitlyn could have a lovely, calming scent throughout the day! After their portraits they got married on the lawn under this gorgeous tree, it was so special. There was so much laughter from this day, their families were celebrating hard for them and were so incredibly welcoming to us, we honestly had such an amazing time hanging out with everyone! We were able to duck away for some twilight photos during the tented reception and get some more intimate moments that were stunning! Their dance was so emotional and Caitlyn’s father daughter dance was hilarious! Halfway through they changed tune and had inflatable guitars and microphones to rock out! The pure joy from this day will stay with us for a long time.
